**Safety and Health Program Management**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety and health programs and policies.

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of the manufacturing facility.
- Identify and assess hazardous conditions and practices; develop hazard control practices and programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records and documentation related to safety and health activities.

**Compliance and Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to occupational safety and health.
- Stay updated with the latest regulations and industry best practices and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.

**Employee Training and Awareness**:

- Organize safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation and regular refresher courses.
- Promote safety awareness among employees through campaigns, workshops, and regular communication.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety-related concerns and queries.

**Emergency Response and Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct drills and training exercises to prepare employees for emergency situations.
- Ensure the availability and functionality of safety equipment and first aid supplies.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety and health considerations into business processes.
- Communicate safety-related information and updates to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with external safety agencies and authorities as required.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze safety and health data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance for management review.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety. Green Book Holder
- Knowledge of Malaysian safety and health regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially in furniture manufacturing, is a plus.

**Salary**: RM5,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
