Content Moderator Team Lead

Are you passionate about ensuring a safe and positive online environment? Do you have excellent communication skills in both Malay and English? We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Moderator Team Lead to join our remote team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a team of content moderators responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across various online platforms.
- Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Develop and implement content moderation policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to content moderation.
- Handle escalated content-related issues, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize moderation processes.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of content moderation.
- Prepare reports and analyze moderation data to identify patterns, trends, and insights for continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in both Malay and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.*
- Proven experience in content moderation and in a leadership or supervisory role.*
- Strong knowledge of online platforms, social media, and user-generated content.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations related to content moderation.
- Ability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing content in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficient in using content moderation tools and software.*
