EHS Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- To perform environmental monitoring & sampling and to assist the Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) Executive in conducting safety health monitoring.
- To document field observation and data from monitoring equipment
- To assist in report preparation for monitoring jobs conducted.
- Ensure that all equipment and sampling media required for the respective work has been prepared in accordance with required testing to be done.
- Ensure that all equipment that require calibration has been calibrated accordingly.
- Ensure that all sampling media that requires laboratory analysis has been properly prepared and sent to the respective laboratories.
- Be responsible for the safe keeping of company property during transit and usage (testing).
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by his/her Superior/ Management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Those with relevant working experience in Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety Services are encouraged to apply
- Good communication (written and oral), presentation skills and people skills
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office
- Possess initiative, hard working and able to work independently and in a team
- Planning, organisational and decision making ability
- Possess a valid driving licence (those with GDL are encouraged to apply)
- Prepared to travel outstation
