**ROLE SUMMARY**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**
- The role will be focused on developing alternative source location within BATs Tier 1 suppliers as a part of a project team
- As SNO SPOC and overall supply chain resource, expectation is to ensure end to end supply and smooth transition of Supply Chain Processes for Tier 1 volumes into a new location while maintaining sufficient balance with current location

Execute supply planning strategy and process for the assigned transition plan

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Ensure Demand and Supply Balancing between Tier 1 Supplier locations as per Transition Plan
- Act as the bridge between BAU planning and the project team during all levels of project execution
- Provide an aligned demand allocation by source location in line with machine ramp up and capacity plans according to phased machine installation ramp up and production stabilisation
- Review and balance supply according to any changes in demand and capacity plans
- Develop relevant stock holding policies of raw materials and monitor material stock levels during the transition period depending on relevant lead times of new suppliers
- Engage internal and external stakeholders according to demand and capacity rebalancing requirements
- Enable order & supply process setup for first commercial production and ongoing supply
- Define new planning processes for supply of finished goods from a new location while maintaining ability to supply same SKUs from original Tier 1 location
- Develop and deploy dual sourcing planning principles into BAU planning process
- Develop ordering process and enable correct system setup basis business model identified
- Ensure HLD (High Level Design), networks for Financial flows and SAP backbone is ready before first order placement
- Ensure Code Readiness to enable timely PO placement in line with balanced production plan
- Support Material readiness from Tier 2 suppliers and ensure demand variations are accounted for
- Design and deploy logistics management processes from Tier 1 supplier to end market
- Identify cost effective and sustainable multimodal logistics route from Supplier to End Market
- Review Logistics 3PL process from Tier 1 location and agree SLAs and planning assumptions
- Ensure all relevant import and export certifications are in place to enable smooth Logistics operation

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**

**ESSENTIAL**

**Experience Required**
- Project Management experience in FMCG Supply Chain
- 5 years across Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, NPI

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good analytical and digital skills
- A range of Supply Chain knowledge / experience (process, metrics)
- Strong knowledge in IWS, CI tools, and agile concept
- Good demonstratable leadership capabilities, for example:

- Anticipation in order to shape the future rather than react to it.
- Resilience
- Ability to make smart decisions in the face of ambiguity.
- Curiosity to seek out new ideas and knowledge.
- Challenging complexity and seeking out simpler / faster ways of working.
- Setting high standards and delivering outstanding result

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- University degree (Supply Chain related major could be an advantage)
- Mastery in advanced planning system could be an advantage

**BENEFICIAL**
- Experience working within monthly & Weekly Planning Cycles
- Experience of using IT supply chain planning, scheduling and ERP systems; specific knowledge on SAP R3 and APO, Kinaxis a distinct advantage.
