1. To support Freight Executive in handling freight forwarding activities such as import, export and customs clearance.
2. To conduct and monitor materials delivery by telephone calls, telexes facsimile and visits to the Vendor’s premises, frequency of which shall be dependent on PURCHASE ORDER delivery date.
3. Expeditor shall in conjunctions with the Vendor, to review and familiarize the delivery schedule and any other relevant documents to enable him to efficiently monitor the delivery of the materials and / or equipment and thereby ensure Vendors compliance to timely delivery and meet Operating Plant Unit (OPU) requirement.
4. To recommend from time to time and promptly report of any anticipated delays or backlogs from any reasons whatsoever and recommend appropriate remedial actions thereto.
5. To recommend to procedural ideas in respect of the performance of the expediting services with a view to maximize its effectiveness.
6. Plan and perform materials delivery execution through monitoring, communicating and issuance of reminders to vendors ensure timely delivery of materials to ensure no disruption to operations.
7. Prepare, verify and upload required documents in FMS
8. Ensure delivery of materials are complete with documents (not limited to Customs Clearance documents (K1/K8 and etc), Invoice and Packing List, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and etc.)
9. Coordinate, analyze and resolve Criticism of Materials (COM) by communicating and engaging with vendors, End-users and Buyers for COMs issued for off-spec, damaged or short
- age of materials delivered to ensure correct materials (in terms of quality and quantity) are delivered as specified in the order.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
