Manager, Digital Value Stream

Overview:
STATEMENT:
The Digital Value Stream Manager is responsible for deeply understanding the needs of the product communities as well as related business processes. This role will support the digital transformation in markets in various stages, and will be instrumental to ensure that we maintain a regional blueprint focus / orientation.
Three main skillsets are required for this role:
- Stakeholder management
- Serve as key liaison for local Distributors and act as their voice to internal teams
- Engagement and alignment with regional and market leaders as well as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on customer facing processes, initiatives, and enhancements
- Act as custodian to ensure alignment between market, regional and global teams
- Identify opportunities for growth by means of our digital products, ensure harmonization of regional process and ensure value-driven digital products
- Support the change management team to ensure business readiness prior to market/feature launch
- Ensure execution and localization of training and communication
- Formulate and deliver on solid strategies regarding product launches as well as continuous release train execution

- Drive product strategies and own the end-to-end product management process

- Perform A/B testing to provide thoroughly tested hypotheses
- Drive solution adoption as key element to our digital transformation
- Drive continuous traction of digital solutions within markets and our region, with a clear focus to leverage our digital solutions to build the business
- Business Analysis
- Understand the business processes of the APAC region and our 14 markets to ensure ROI
- Identify, understand and analyze business problems and work with relevant stakeholders to find as-simple-as-possible solutions
- Work closely with relevant business representatives to prioritise requests / demands according to value (i.e. ROI)
- Maintain and manage the backlog for the assigned value stream(s)
- Build business cases for APAC, and align with the global teams to ensure robust product design

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Partner with relevant business functions within the markets (incl. country directors and Distributors) to deeply understand market needs and determine the commercial value, challenge demands and requests of individual market needs, ensure standardization and advocate radical simplification
- Partner with Distributor leadership representatives to deeply understand pain & gain points, align back to commercial/business value and categorize demands into a prioritized sequence that would bring the highest ROI/ROE to business
- Partner with appropriate internal departments to quantify and track launched products/projects/features to confirm business case deliverables and adjust process /calculation of trends to have better estimation of expected ROI for future features
- Responsible for connecting with various functions and vendors during the deployment phase, and reporting to delivery team with regards to any obstacles/risks
- Align with market representatives to ensure a solid digital strategy, and create market/subregions plans to implement them on an operational level
- Act as the local digital SME for digital products, defining early adopters and ambassadors who can advocate to the rest of the market as to the advantages of using digital tools effectively
- Work with analytics teams to deeply understand market data to drive adoption
- Evaluate service levels and digital experiences in comparison to relevant benchmarks and share with the regional team(s) where there are improvements/opportunities
- Partner with the sub region GTS BRM team to ensure that technical requirements are sufficiently captured (incl. cost analysis, over-all business case / ROI and impact assessment)
- Deeply understand problem statements and partner with product design teams during discovery phases to ensure that proposed solutions meet business needs and expected outcome
- Work closely with the relevant Service Operations stakeholders to ensure end-to-end service quality

- Relevant University qualification
- Digital experience in any / all of the 3 stages mentioned is required
- 6+ years of IT and business / industry work experience
- Digital analytics and commercial business experience is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of strategic planning and decision-making, navigating ambiguity, and building trusting relationships
- Ability to identify, clarify and promote the best value-delivering opportunities for digital investments
