Depot Superintendent

._**POSITION TITLE **:_Depot Superintendent
- **REPORTS TO**:_Manager, Operations
- **LOCATIONS **:_Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
- **PURPOSE OF POSITION**:_
- Plan, Organize, Supervise, and participate in the Depot Operations and activities. To ensure safety is the top priority for everyone.
- Train, Assign and Supervise and evaluate Depot Supervisors and other staffs assigned under Depot Superintendent.
- To identify and implement cost saving measures and method
- To focus and implement continuous improvement methodology throughout depot operations and processes.
- To have customer centric mindset and fulfilling customer orders on timely manner.
- Attending customer complaints, identifying root cause and implement corrective action accordingly.
- **PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES**:_
- Depot Safety measures and safety risk mitigation processes.
- Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily depot operations and activities including monitoring daily production supervisor’s performances, output target vs actual, production documentations and tracking, report generation, Inventory tracking & ownership and Depot Inbound and Outbound movement control.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of production records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the production line, Quality Control and to keep track of raw material usage.
- Maintain and track accurate records of daily Inventory transactions.
- To take ownership and liable for all depot inventory transactions and movements.
- Observe health and safety regulations; monitor and assure depot is in clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Assisting OM in establishing depot standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various suppliers as required.
- To assist OM managing Customers visitation.
- To be able to operate depot vehicles, forklift, machineries, and equipment.
- To perform other duties within limits as assigned by OM

- **LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENT**:_
- Able to lead and manage a large group (>200) foreign worker at the production floor.
- Understand in depth the whole process productions and able to train others.
- Work in team and support all thecolleagues to achieve better result.
- To fulfill all dedicated tasks with highest integrity and transparency.
- Taking full responsibility and accountability within the department.
- Punctual, Lead by example and setting a positive work culture & environment.
- Taking precautionary measures on all safety aspects.

- Cost savings Improvement measures and initiation
- Safety improvements and zero accident achievement.
- Managing depot inventory vs customer demand accurately
- Minimising productionsdowntime
- Accurately maintaining stock control and movements.
- Minimising stock take error and reconciliation.
- Accurate reporting
- **POSITIONS REQUIREMENT**:_
- At least minimum 3 years working experience in any wooden pallet, furniture, or wood industry in supervisory role. Good warehouse / depot management knowledge. External accreditations preferred but not essential.
- Minimum Diploma or Degree holder qualification. Extensive experience without education background will be considered.
- Must be fit and healthy.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills at all level and able to work as a team.
- Willing to extend effort when needed to ensure operations uninterrupted.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 2 years (required)
- Supply chain management: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Bahasa Malaysia (preferred)

- Day Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
