Diabetic Educator

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide diabetes counseling to diabetic patients (Inpatient, Outpatient and referrals).
- Plan, organize, coordinate and manage health classes and activities inside and outside hospital premises e.g. World Diabetes Day.
- Give health talks to create awareness on Diabetes Mellitus.
- Follow up care of Diabetic patients.
- Involve in Health Screening Services inside and outside hospital premises. Analyze health screening data and generate report where necessary.
- Work together with relevant departments to produce preventive health education brochures, flyers, posters, banners and others for in-house, corporate and public.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating Health Promotion, Lifestyle Intervention and Workplace Wellness activities.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFICATIONS**
- At Least Diploma in Nursing.
- **Post Basic in Diabetic related.**:

- Preferably 3 years working experience with Diabetes patients.
- Able to commute to Kota Damansara.
- Have valid APC and registered under LJM.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kota Damansara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Post Basic (Diabetic Related) (preferred)
- APC (preferred)
