Purchasing Executive/ Assistance

Octagon Group of Companies is a fully integrated signage company with in-house capabilities from designing, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. The company operates in Malaysia. - Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
- To look for identifying the right vendor and issuing the Purchase orders to the selected vendors.
- To liaise with user to identify all requirements in purchase requisition raised by respective departments.
- Responsible for monitoring delivery/ shipment of materials from local or oversea.
- Verify availability of stock and expediting deliveries, investigate delays and initiate remedial action.
- Assisting in yearly Vendor performance assessment.
- Updates job duty & report to superior.
- Undertake special assignment, ad hoc function and any other related duties as and when required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years related working experience in manufacturing industry
- Must good in English and Malay.
- Possess good attitude, result oriented and a team player.
- Good interpersonal and able to work independently.
Normal working hours (8:30am - 6:00pm, Mon - Fri).
**Job Types**: Full-time.
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
