Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) to support the customization of products according to client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for new and customized products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Update and maintain CAD database for new and existing products, organizing files and ensuring version control.
- Assist in making models and prototypes for new products.
- Assist in the review and validation of drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Provide support to manufacturing and production teams by resolving drawing-related inquiries and facilitating smooth implementation of design changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology, recommending process improvements and best practices for enhanced efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Draftsperson or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor) with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings according to specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) management and CAD database maintenance preferred.
- Proficient in Tolerance Stack Up and GD&T is an advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
