**One&Only Desaru Coast** is seeking a passionate and dedicated **Butler **to join our team based in Desaru, Johor. This poosition is only applocable for Malaysia residence.
- Welcome, escort, room orientation, accommodating special request whenever possible.
- Verify customers’ credit and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Presents options and alternatives to guests and helps in making choices.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the resort.
- Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Coordinate with Room Service the delivery of fruits for VIP guests and assigned amenities. Replenish them daily until the guest's departure.
- After check-in, introduce themselves to the guest, escort the guest to their room and explain room and hotel facilities and help for the remainder of their stay.
- Coordinate luggage handling with Concierge sections for arriving and departing guest to ensure safe and timely delivery.
- Answer all guest requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner, whether by telephone or in person, provide/receive information and take appropriate actions or refer the matters to the relevant persons to handle.
- Offer personalized wake-up to the room with tea or coffee as per guest requests.
- Offer assistance to guests with shoe shining, newspaper delivery, packing and unpacking luggage, collecting and delivering laundry and dry cleaning.

**About You**:

- Minimum 1 to 2 years experiences in Butler Service / F&B /Front Office / Guest Relations or similar role in five-star hotel/resort environment.
- Outgoing personality with ability to communicate with guests and colleagues
- Excellent English communication skills, other languages are an advantage
