Facilities Specialist

Job Summary:

- A facilities specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical infrastructure and systems of a facility, such as a building and manufacturing facility.
- To ensure that the facility is operating efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance on facility work.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Able to drive continuous improvement program to improve on safety and facility.
- Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing facility maintenance activities.
- Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems, and building repairs.
- Manage and support facility-related projects and expansions.
- Responsible for managing the energy consumption of the facility, including monitoring energy use, identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, and implementing energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Maintain accurate records of facilities activities including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedule.

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years above of experience as a facilities specialist/ engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience with AutoCAD

**Education**:

- Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
