We also require a person who takes a progressive, creative approach to teaching and has the necessary skills and vision to enhance the learning and teaching at AMIS in KS3 and KS4. We seek a teacher who is dedicated to helping our learners maximise their potential and is committed to the well-being and pastoral needs of our learners.
We are seeking professionals who:
- are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and has relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
- have at least three years of experience in teaching history in a secondary school and is registered with the Department of Education (DfE) or equivalent;
- have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
- can deliver a balanced, broad and differentiated curriculum for their learners;
- can deliver well-planned, rigorous and interesting learning experiences for their students;
- have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge;
- encourage and contribute to a well-organised and inspiring learning environment;
- experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching;
- have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;
- passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
