Internal Investigator

You will join our Protection division and be a part of the Internal Security team. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a set of measures aimed at eliminating external risks of the company's activities, conducting internal investigations aimed at suppressing fraudulent and other illegal actions on the part of our employees.

You will:

- Plan, organize, and conduct timely, complex, and unbiased investigations involving allegations of misconduct from employees, agents, and vendors in accordance with Exness policy and industry standards.
- Define the investigation scope and its strategy and assess the investigative approach in coordination with the other teams.
- Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects.
- Prepare a comprehensive and detailed report and deliver an executive summary which is concise and to the point to the line manager or C-level employees.
- Cooperate with governmental organizations and law enforcement agencies, contacting the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
- Establish control and defense procedures against internal risks, such as unspecified losses, the disclosure of secrets, unlawful competition, crimes against intellectual and industrial property, administrative offenses, claims for damages, and prejudice to ethical or material third parties.
- Coach team members in areas where they have the expertise and assist them in their scope areas.
- Collaborate on risk assessment tasks within the Protection division.

What we expect from you:

- 5 or more years of complex investigation-related experience, preferably in internal investigation or corporate audit functions
- 4 or more years of background in internal or fraud-related investigations
- Experience with whistleblowing investigations
- Professional and confidential work approach based on independence and unbiased objectivity
- Proven international track record in various cultural and legal environments
- Strong business analytical skills and great attention to detail
- Good understanding of local legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
- Strong time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changes
- Sound judgment and an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

- Proficiency in Thai or Malay
