Because this role is heavily focused on developing and maintaining relationships, Medical Business Officer to have excellent interpersonal skills, also need a great deal of familiarity with company’s products and services to identify opportunities to increase market share with data analytical skills.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- **Internal and External Relationships**

Identify opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships to advance the business. This can mean building cross-functional teams within the organization by connecting personnel across business lines, or managing external vendor and supplier relations and also manage customer relations to increase the business’s visibility and reputation.
- **Analyze Industry Trends**

Business Development Manager has to stay up-to-the-minute on the latest industry trends to know which strategies resonate with customers in their niche to lead organization team.
- **Identify Business Opportunities**

Identify areas where the business can increase its footprint. Business Development Manager may identify potential partnerships, opportunities to enhance distribution and open up new markets, and methods to enhance efficiency within the organization’s sales and marketing departments.
- **Direct Strategic Marketing**

Business Development Manager takes a hands-on approach to the company’s marketing efforts. They may present market research and customer profiles to marketing team members, recommending improved strategies to expand market reach. Business Development Manager also coordinate activities between sales and marketing teams to introduce new campaigns and make decisions that drive sales growth.
- **Build Client Relations**

In order to expand the market, Business Development Manager work to form new client relationships and strengthen existing client relationships to forge new opportunities. In this role, Business Development Manager assist in the sales and service processes to ensure client satisfaction to help increase revenue and develop lasting professional relationships that will fuel sales and lead to possible partners with organizations associated with these clients.
- **Promote Company Products**

To build awareness and recognition of products, Business Development Manager helps to create promotional and sales materials for clients and the public. They work closely with sales and marketing departments and managers to form strategies that target specific audiences to grow sales and broaden their market.
- **Contact Leads to Set up Meetings**
- **Support Operations Planning**

Work closely with executives and operations specialists to improve operations planning and overall efficiency. Assess marketing and sales operations, along with supplier and vendor activities, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements. Make long-term operations decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies.
- **Coordinate Marketing and Networking Events**

From trade shows to community events, Business Development Manager will organize events that lead to client meetings and product promotions. They might assist in choosing materials and products to include in these events and even attend shows and meetings to represent the company for which they work.
- **Develop Proposals and Presentations**

Often make presentations to company executives and management teams to highlight business or marketing opportunities or to present the results of new strategies. Business Development Manager also prepare documents and information for requests for proposals (RFPs). These RFPs often present new opportunities for business growth and enhanced operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 2 years experience in primary health and preventive medicine.
- Good communication in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English.

**JOB COMPETENCIES**
- To provide continuous primary and preventive healthcare, counsel on common illnesses, and medical and pre-employment screening for patients and Corporate Clients.
- Managing chronic diseases and conditions within the primary care setting for Clients.
- Performing history taking, physical examination and counselling patients on blood test, X-ray, ECG and other relevant investigation reports.
- Identify abnormalities and providing health education to patients based on the health screening reports.
- Generating health screening and other medical reports based on examination reports
