**Job Brief**

We are looking for a Pharmaceutical Category Purchaser (Poison) to order supplies and equipment based on our company’s needs.

Pharmaceutical Category Purchaser (Poison) responsibilities include research for new/potential vendors, sourcing of poison items and negotiating for the best or most cost-effective deals. If you’re familiar with supply chain procedures and know-how to create and translate cost analyses, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Research potential vendors and source for new suppliers
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Sourcing of poison items and negotiating for the best or most cost-effective deals
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Prepare cost analyses
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Updating and maintaining records of internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

**Requirements**:

- Has proven work experience as a purchaser (poison category) or similar role
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Positive work attitude and willingness to learn
- Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, New-Grad

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
