**Regional HR Manager - Based in Lahad Datu, Sabah.**

**JOB RESPONSIBILIITES**
- To monitor regional manpower budget and involve in all aspects of the recruitment process. Ensure the recruitment process, job placement, induction and orientation are in place and are dealt with correctly, effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and analyse turnover rates, absence, out-turn, etc., reporting to line managers with recommendations for future action.
- Advise managers on staffing structures and job design, and provide guidance on job evaluation, job descriptions, job analysis and person specification.
- Issue and review offers of employment in Lahad Datu and associated employment documentation within the budget and HR policy, including appropriate employment checks.
- Employee PCBA - Ensure all information and employment changes are maintained accurately and in line with the HR Policy & practices in HQ.
- To handle on all employee relation matters, ensuring problems are dealt with speedily and at the lowest possible level, including discipline, capability, grievance, absence control, tardiness, redundancy, appraisal, harassment, etc. Where necessary, to held domestic inquiry.
- Monitor the regional employees KPI and work with line managers to identify performance related matters.
- To identify potential second liner to line managers and work with line managers to ensure sufficient mentoring and developments are being carried out.
- To provide advice and support to Operating Units on all HR issues, with the aim of promoting best practice and the adoption of appropriate employment policies and practices. Occasional on-site visits to operating units are expected.
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of employment law generally, reducing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and update & advice line managers appropriately.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor from time to time.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience as Human Resource, namely Manager, Senior Executive or Specialist.
- At least 10 years of hands-on working experiences in Human Resource practices (_with 5 years experience in Managerial role_).
- Must be well versed with Sabah Labour Ordinance, Malaysia Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources Management Software.
- Result oriented, able to work in multi-tasking environment and with tight deadlines.
- Good command of spoken & written in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Plantation industry or agriculture sector would be an advantage.
- Able to travel to the Regional Offices / Estates from time-to-time.

**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human Resources: 10 years (preferred)
- Human Resources Management: 10 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
- English (preferred)
