Executive - Credit Control

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with finance team on the issuance of invoices and send out to tenants on a timely basis.
- Work closely with finance team (who raised the invoices) to resolve all invoice disputes by tenants.
- Work closely with finance to monitor cheque clearance, arrange for cheques to be banked in on a daily basis.
- For all cleared payments received, perform allocation and receipting in IFCA on a timely basis.
- Record and safely store all post-dated cheques and monitor them closely (timely banking in).
- Promptly attend to all requests from tenants with regards to statement of accounts, payment history, invoices, queries, etc.
- Meeting up with tenants with regards to unpaid balances and structure payment scheme whenever necessary.
- Send 1st reminder (on the 8th) and 2nd reminder (on the 15th) of every month to tenants with outstanding debt.
- Compute late payment interest (LPI) and generate tax invoices for LPI.
- For debtors under legal action, to provide information to our external lawyers, leasing team, internal legal team - on information relating the debtor.
- Work closely with Leasing Department to improve debts collection and provide feedback on tenants’ related matters.
- Work closely with leasing department for required supporting documents (letter of offer, TRCD, etc). Set up debtor master list in IFCA for new tenants.
- Together with group credit control team, to be involved in continuous improvements of credit control processes.
- On a weekly basis, to assist CC Sr. Executive to prepare a report and arrange an internal CC meeting.
- On a monthly basis, to assist CC Sr. Executive to prepare and present to the mall General Manager,
- Assistant Manager of Credit Control & leasing team on the debtor aging, to discuss next course of action for tenants with payment issues.
**Requirements**:
- At least a Diploma in Book-Keeping Certificate, Business Administration or Financial/Accounting equivalent qualification
- Accounting/Finance professional qualifications(CPA/ACCA/ICAEW) will be preferred
- At least 1-2 years working experience in handling credit control
- Computer literate and knowledge on computerized system is essential, i.e.: MS Office, Excel and Word, etc
- Familiarization with IFCA System will be an added advantage
- Those with retail mall experience will have an added advantage
- Multilingual, must be able to converse in 3 main languages fluently
- Must be able to work in team.
**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
