**Communication**: Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations, provide shipment status updates, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transit.

**Cost Management**: Evaluate transportation costs, negotiate contracts with carriers or freight forwarders, and seek cost-effective shipping solutions while maintaining service quality standards.

**Tracking and Monitoring**: Monitor shipment progress, track cargo movements, and ensure timely deliveries. Address any delays or disruptions in the transportation process and take corrective actions as necessary.

**Compliance**: Stay updated on transportation regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance laws to ensure adherence and avoid any legal issues.

**Problem Resolution**: Handle and resolve any issues related to shipment discrepancies, damages, or losses, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to find effective solutions.

**Inventory Management**: Coordinate with warehouse or inventory teams to ensure proper inventory levels, manage stock movements, and optimize storage and distribution processes.

**Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, providing shipment updates, and offering solutions to meet customers' specific shipping requirements.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (though not always mandatory; relevant experience can be sufficient).
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or a similar role within the transportation industry.
