Transaction Tax Specialist

- US Sales and Use tax, GST and VAT Run reports, reconcile, and submit transaction tax returns as assigned
- Contribute to process efficiencies and documentation projects
- Support monthly compliance metrics and trackers
- Support the tax team with various credit/refund opportunities (requires research, data collection, and preparation)
- Support United States “US” sales & use tax and other transaction tax audits through researching of issues and supporting document request and other inquiries
- Participate in cross-functional projects to support the company’s business objectives
- Participate in system testing and validation of transactions as part of our ongoing tax process improvement priorities
- Perform monthly transaction tax account reconciliation and related journal entries
- Provide timely support and effective guidance to our business colleagues on transaction tax inquiries
- Work with our global team and cross-functional colleagues to support projects and other business priorities as needed.

Qualifications & Experiences:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years accounting experience
- Knowledge of SAP/Oracle Fusion a plus
- Prior experience in supporting tax compliance and audits a plus

Desired skills:

- Knowledge ERP systems and financial reporting systems (SAP, Oracle Fusion knowledge a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong excel skills preferred)
- Superior analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Demonstrated flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast changing environment
- Strong team player

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
