Chief Financial Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting,
forecasting, tax planning, and financial analysis.
- Develop financial strategies and plans to support the company's overall strategic
goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring that they have the
necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with
accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions, including
investments, pricing, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other external financial partners.
- Manage the company's cash flow and capital requirements, ensuring that funds are
available to meet operational needs and growth opportunities.
- Monitor and report on financial performance to the board of directors and other
stakeholders, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Ensure that the company's financial systems and processes are efficient, effective,
and secure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and
accounting, and implement changes as needed.
- Overall, the CFO plays a critical role in the financial management and strategic
direction of the company, ensuring that it remains financially sound and
well-positioned for growth and success.
Experienced Needed
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
is typically required, while a master's degree or CPA certification may be preferred.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a
related field is typically required, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as
Financial Controller / Finance Director.
- Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and mergers and acquisitions is
highly valued. An effective leader, able to manage and motivate a team, provide clear
direction, and establish a positive and productive work environment.
- Have strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse financial data,
identify trends, and develop insights and recommendations.
- Able to think strategically, with the ability to develop and implement financial
strategies and plans that support the overall goals and objectives of the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial
information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of the
organisation.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Familiar with financial software and systems, as well as other business technologies,
and be able to leverage these tools to improve financial processes and reporting
**Salary**: RM20,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
