Internal Security Specialist

**Your role at Exness**:
You will join our Protection division and be a part of the Internal Security team. You will be responsible for the operational and management of the security systems equipment (monitoring, maintenance, adjustment, status reporting, and access management) and will also be responsible for emergency incident response (training, emergency procedures, initial checks, and alarms responding). You will need to support the HQ Internal Security team and the Protection division in general in performing their duties in order to implement the set of measures aimed at providing effective company protection throughout the enterprise.
**You will**:
- Perform all activities related to the installation of security equipment, such as access control, intrusion video surveillance, and life safety alarms, in both new and existing offices, in order to ensure their protection.
- Assist with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of access control systems and video management systems, as well as the integration of other safety and security subsystems, such as intrusion detection.
- Manage access levels and user rights, overseeing the issuing and assigning of access rights for access control cards or key fobs and the decommissioning of access control cards.
- Prepare and implement access control system reports and provide video materials of incidents.
- Communicate with security vendors and organize and track scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs or adjustments to electronic devices for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection devices, and other.
- Provide training for employees and instruct them how to use the security systems.
- Control that all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings, assisting guards and security administrators with arrangements to escort visitors and contractors to high secure areas, such as storage rooms or server rooms.
- Support the premises control by monitoring the CCTV system and other security equipment.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation and making an initial check in case you receive information about violations or incidents.
- Communicate with the security vendors regarding payments, maintenance, and installation issues.
- Participate in the development and review of local security policies, procedures, instructions, and guidelines.
- Support the team in internal investigations by providing security system log reports, video reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Prepare materials for security awareness and training programs for all employees, including presentations to other team members, and conduct induction and other training for employees and contractors.
- Schedule security training sessions with company employees and contractors on topics such as emergency procedures, evacuation, local health and safety regulations.
- Complete all incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents, drafting weekly and other regular reports as prescribed by the company, division, and within the team.
- Perform a wide variety of administrative and health and safety duties supporting security procedures and requirements.
- Perform other security field duties if requested by the line manager and company management.
**What we expect from you**:
- 5 or more years of experience in the field of physical security
- 3 or more years of background installing and maintaining access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems
- Knowledge of biometric access controls systems
- Extensive understanding of image recognition, face recognition, and motion tracking systems
- Proven experience and strong command of low voltage systems and network principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors
- Ability to do routine work every day.
- Possibility to do the job yourself without vendors and contractors.
- Possibility to work as one person without having different workers.
- Please be informed that this is not a manager position, and you will need to be prepared to do all work alone without assistance from the side.
- Familiarity with operating a computer and using software packages
- Good grasp of local laws and regulations about area security and health safety
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Capacity to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changes
- Proven international background in various cultural and legal environments
- Fluency in English and Malay
**Nice to have**:
- First Aid or BLS and self-defense training
- Proficiency in Chinese
