Video and motion picture editors are responsible for the assembly and cutting of raw footage into a logically and aesthetically either for movies, television series, or domestic purposes. They reorganize scenes that have been shot and decide which special effects are needed. Video and motion picture editors work closely together with sound editors and music directors. Job Description Pre-production '¢ Plans the idea and concept (storyline, storyboard, script) '¢ Gets approval for idea and concept '¢ Collaborate with marketing team: â-ª Social Media â-ª Content Writer â-ª Creative Team â-ª Scheduled production timeline for a well-organize work flows to meet deadline. Production '¢ Capture and record footages, moments and content (image and video format) '¢ Material collaboration with creative team (videographer and graphic designer) '¢ Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film '¢ Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects '¢ Create rough and final cuts '¢ Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running Post-production '¢ Consult with stakeholders for post-production process.
