1. Principal Responsibility
- To assist the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in executing and overseeing the overall day-to-day operations. Ensure that customers are provided good quality service and achieve production targets and manage operational costs to maintain ongoing profitability for Wei Tat Feedmill Sdn Bhd.

2. General Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Sales and QA/QC Departments to ensure that customer complaints are professionally and efficiently resolved.
- Plan, organize, lead in the preparation of department budgets towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth of the business operations.

Manage systems for all internal control procedures in relation to the Operations & Logistic Department. Develop and implement improvements to administration systems and processes.
- Control cost within the Operations & Logistic Department to meet with the budget.

Work with Assistant QA/QC Team on plant mix designs, raw material quality, and the regular analysis of statically information to produce quality control procedures.
Develop knowledge of standard quality control procedures and relevant standards, quality control, and assurance manuals.
- Responsible for the overall management and implementation of health, safety and environment programs. Plan and target safety initiatives to improve work practices

Promote an environment that creates ownership of health, safety and environment by Plant Heads, and ensure the development of safe working practices in all areas of operation.
- Ensure all accidents are investigated and identified hazards rectified.
- Report safety performance to senior management on a monthly basis.
- Ensure a first-class fleet appearance.

3. Matters of which you are responsible
- Ensure all production employees comply with the relevant company and statutory requirements.
- Compliments, environmental, health, and safety policy.

4. People Management
- Manpower planning, control of overhead expenses and maximize capacity utilization.

To assess and develop Operations & Logistic employees, and develop motivation by setting achievable targets, providing feedback, coaching, and counseling on performance.

5. Accountabilities
- To oversee the overall day-to-day business operation by ensuring targets are achieved & meeting the statutory and local government requirements.
- Delegate task accountabilities. Establish work schedule, supervise staff & workers, monitor & evaluate performance.
- Analyze & prepare weekly/ monthly reports.

**Job Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification from a recognized university in veterinarian or equivalent.
- Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position or RMC industry would be valuable.
- Experience in managing a function and people.
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Possess leadership qualities in managing the production team.
- Able to organize and prioritize own work and coordinate the work of others effectively.
- Resourceful and able to work independently with multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills with people of different professional levels.
- Highly integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
