**Position**: DMC Intern (Digital Communications)

**Department**: Programmes

**Location**: Remote with 4 Days /Week in the Office* - Starting April 2024
*KL Office: Lorong Tanjong, Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

**Employment**: 2-Months Probation + 4-Months Internship

**Duration**: Full-Time, 5 Days /Week, from 9AM-6PM, for 6 Months

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts for personal or organisational purposes, with a strong understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithms
- Proficiency in utilising social media management tools and analytics platforms to track engagement, analyse trends, and optimise content strategy
- Creative skills in content creation, including graphic design using tools like Canva, to produce visually appealing and engaging social media posts
- Ability to develop and implement social media campaigns and strategies to increase followership, engagement, and brand awareness
- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) and ability to assist in creating and optimising ad campaigns
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey messaging across different social media channels, including writing captivating copy and captions
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing, including hashtag usage, influencer partnerships, and user-generated content strategies
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and document management
- Fluent in both English and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages on social media platforms

**Responsibilities (Internal Operations)**:

- Social Media Strategy and Content Creation:

- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms
- Research and stay updated on social media trends and emerging news
- Community Engagement and Management:

- Monitor and engage with the organisation's social media community
- Foster positive relationships with followers and influencers
- Analytics and Insights:

- Utilise social media analytics tools to track and analyse performance metrics
- Provide regular reports and insights on social media performance
- Brand Management and Reputation:

- Uphold DnG's brand identity and voice across all social media channels
- Monitor online conversations and sentiment related to the organisation
- Content Planning and Editorial Calendar:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content ideas
- Maintain a content calendar to plan and schedule posts in advance

**Responsibilities (Project Roles)**:

- Campaign Support and Execution:

- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns and initiatives
- Assist in managing paid social media advertising campaigns
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments to coordinate social media efforts
- Collaborate with influencers, partners, and external stakeholders

**Compensation**:

- 2-Months Probation: RM500
- 4-Months Internship: RM1,000 /Month + Allowances for Field Work

**Grow With Us**: After completing their 6-months, successful applicants will have the option to extend their employment.
