A Customer Support Translator in the medical field who is fluent in Mandarin plays a vital role in ensuring effective communication between Mandarin-speaking patients and medical professionals. This position involves providing translation services, assisting patients with medical inquiries, and facilitating a smooth and culturally sensitive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
**Translation Services**: Provide accurate and clear translations of medical documents, prescriptions, and verbal communications between Mandarin-speaking patients and healthcare providers.

**Language Proficiency**: Ensure precise interpretation and translation of complex medical terminology and healthcare information in both Mandarin and the target language(s).

**Patient Assistance**: Assist Mandarin-speaking patients with questions regarding medical conditions, treatment options, appointment scheduling, and medical procedures.

**Cultural Sensitivity**: Respect cultural differences, patient beliefs, and preferences when translating medical information and during patient interactions.

**Emergency Situations**: Be available to offer immediate translation support in urgent or emergency medical situations, such as hospital visits or doctor's appointments.

**Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, translation services provided, and any medical information exchanged.

**Patient Education**: Help patients understand their medical conditions, treatment plans, and any prescribed medications, ensuring they are well-informed about their healthcare.

**Compliance and Privacy**: Ensure that all translations and interactions adhere to healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and company policies, maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to facilitate effective communication and seamless patient care.

**Feedback Collection**: Gather feedback from patients and healthcare providers to improve translation services and enhance the overall patient experience.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in Mandarin, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and compassionate approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential medical information with professionalism and discretion.
- Prior experience in medical translation, interpretation, or customer support in a healthcare setting is an added advantage.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, as medical facilities often provide services around the clock.
- A bachelor's degree
- Fresh graduate is welcome.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
