Job Description: 1. Correspond with purchases (with vendors), arrivals, shipping, delivery times, verify correct items, amount been delivered and properly store material. 2. To obtain quotation or prices from supplier and prepare comparison for approval. 3. Verify current inventory levels and keep records to prevent inventory gaps. Get note when inventory is low and it is time to order new products. 4. Carefully checks purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and clarity. 5. Verify that product information, shipping information, cost and delivery dates are all correct before obtaining authorization to place an order. 6. Organize all procurement activities relating to request for proposals and price. 7. Organize and maintain computerized records containing vendor and bid information. 8. Perform general clerical duties such as maintaining general files, typing, data entry and completing and processing standard purchasing forms. 9. Respond to inquiries from staff regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and pricing information. 10. Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
NORTH SOIL ENGINEERING ENTERPRISE was formed in 1990 as a soil investigation contractor with minimum resources and machineries. The company gradually divested into foundation, slope strengthening and rehabilitation works. The company is housed in its own story building which is situated at Kepong Prima, along the main Kuala Lumpur Kepong Road. The Management, professional and office staff totals twenty five. The site management and supervisory staff average about twenty personnel. The company also employs drillers, welders, and plant operators, other skilled and unskilled workers mainly from Bangladesh, Nepal and India. The work force fluctuates from 180 to 210 depending on the returnees at any spastic period. Our company also has a team of Geologists, Engineers and Management Consultants to complement our technical expertise and professional support for related GEOTECHNICAL PROJECTS.
