JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an Associate - Talent, Culture & Engagement, you will play a vital role in supporting the team’s administration function. This includes and are not limited to Astro’s scholarship, training programs, and internal communication tasks. This role will also require you to support Human Resource Corporation Fund-specific administrative tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of these initiatives and contributing to the success of Team Astro seeking growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scholarship Program Management:
- Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients and disbursements of funds between Astro and scholars.
- Maintain effective communication with scholarship recipients, program participants, and external partners.
- Coordinate with educational institutions, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless scholarship experience.
2. L&D Program Coordination:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, organising and tracking of training programs, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in maintaining training and learning records for monitoring and audit purposes
- Communicate with trainers, participants, and external partners to ensure program logistics are well-executed.
3. Human Resource Development Corporation Fund (HRDC) Compliance
- Manage HRDC end-to-end grant and claim process for Astro and its groups of companies
- Manage HRDC-related administrative tasks, including preparation of documentation and submissions to fulfil HRDC requirements
- Manage all training and finance reporting related to training and HRDC for Astro and its groups of companies
- Keep updated on HRDF regulations and to ensure detailed tracking are completed and adhered to
4. Internal Communications
- Manage and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring timely and relevant info
- Plan and support the execution of internal events, town hall and employee engagement
- Review and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance internal communications
5. Financial Administration:
- Track and manage the budget for scholarships and training programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Process invoices, reimbursements, and financial transactions related to these programs.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate regular reports on scholarship and L&D programs for Management
- Maintain detailed records of scholarship and L&D program activities, expenditures and outcomes.
Background/Qualifications
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A passion for supporting individuals in their educational and professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, etc.).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Familiarity with HRDC regulations in Malaysia is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
