Executive, Patient Access Programme

**Job Purpose**
The services provided in NCSM follow the 3 main pillars namely Care, Educate and Support. The pillar of care focuses on the clinical services and aspects of NCSM namely early detection, community and corporate cancer screening programs. The executive is required to execute, monitor, report and support activities and programs on all platforms.
As a Patient Access Program (PAP) Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and success of our Patient Access Programs (PAPs) for medications and Oral Nutritional Supplements (ONS). This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical companies. You will be responsible for running the entire process of PAPs, from assisting patients to coordinating with pharmacists and doctors, ensuring seamless medication and Oral Nutritional Supplementation (ONS) purchasing and distribution, and maintaining accurate patient records.
The job description of the role is listed as follows:
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Execute Assigned Patient Access Programs (PAPs)**:
- Administer the PAPs to ensure patients receive necessary medications and support throughout the process.
- Assist in collaborations with healthcare providers to identify eligible patients and enrol them in the appropriate PAPs.
**2. Patient Liaison**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in the PAPs.
**3. Coordination with Healthcare Professionals**:
- Assist in establishing effective communication channels with pharmacists and doctors responsible for treating patients enrolled in the PAPs.
- Assist in collaborations with healthcare professionals to gather treatment details and ensure patients receive their prescribed medications on time.
**4. Day-to-Day Operations**:
- Handle the day-to-day operations of medication and ONS purchasing, distribution, and stock keeping.
- Ensure an adequate and steady supply of medications and ONS for enrolled patients.
**5. Pharmaceutical Company and ONS Salespersons Communication**:
- Maintain regular communication with pharmaceutical companies and ONS salespersons to facilitate the purchasing of medication and ONS for the PAPs.
**6. Medication and Patient Records Management**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication and ONS purchases, distribution, and patient information.
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is upheld and that all records comply with relevant privacy regulations.
**7. Vaccines and Merchandise**
- Manage inventory of all cold-chain drugs, ONS, vaccines and merchandise (Medsons hand cream).
- Ensure stocks are sufficient throughout.
- Ensure accurate and up to date documentation of all stock and inventory.
- Ensure data is backed up to external drive weekly.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical representatives.
- Able to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Possess own transport.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
