UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
**About the Department**:
The **Technology and Operations **function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end software development and support for Customer Management and Compliance (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support.
As the production support team lead, you will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the Customer Management and Compliance leads to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
- Provide timely updates and report to management
- Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation
- Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance
- Providing technical leadership for the squad and enforce the Definition of Done
- Acting as a servant leader that encourages collaboration and open communication
- Enabling the squad and removing impediments and blockers for the squad
- Providing insight, measurement, accountability and a positive working environment
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 6 years’ experience in software development, preferably in customer management and/or compliance
- Senior software engineer with knowledge in Oracle SQL and Java
- Experience with UNIX and/or Windows operating system will be an added advantage
- Familiar with Agile processes and practices will be an added advantage
- Experience in leading squads/teams in terms of task management as well as technical decisions
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling
- Have good experience and understanding of Banking domains
- Experience in vendor product management will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and organization skills to collaborate effectively within the squad and with other stakeholders
