Document Control Specialist I

- Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
- Flexibility with work hours. Some late evening hours to accommodate for US morning time zone, MY morning time zone.
Job Summary:
Provides general system support and status reporting for sellable part related activity. This includes initiating and reviewing release/change requests for accurate sellable attributes and required documentation. Entering item master data and bill of material to ensure a timely and accurate release into the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems. Providing customer service to Product Management, Order Management, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams by giving responses/resolutions to item attribute questions, part number requests/issues and sellable related changes/issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (High Level)
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to set priorities.
- Interface with team members to effectively meet scheduled commitments, releases, projects, tasks, and assignments.
- Enters item masters for sellable software, Zebra kits and service contract products into the computer system per procedures or guidelines established by the functional area responsible for ongoing maintenance.
- Verifies and enters product structures into the computer system such that bill of materials are formulated in a consistent and uniform manner.
- Facilitates the processing and implementation of Engineering changes as they relate to sellable item activity by tracking their status and following up to see that all necessary information (part/bill of material attributes, Sellable Item Request Form, Regulatory country lists, etc) are available and accurately entered into the AgilePLM system.
- Performs other related duties such as special projects, metrics, testing events, research, etc.
