**JOB PURPOSE**
- Perform the accounting of cash and bank receipts, updating of relevant GL codes and maintenance of related records and registers as well as performing the bank reconciliation of all current accounts.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Update Receipt Register on daily basis. Perform all duties as cashier in receiving payments, issuance of receipts & maintenance of cash records for ease of reference and compilation.
- Broadcast daily receipt to BU/SU for confirmation of GL codes allocation to ensure accuracy of reporting and updates in the accounting book.
- Update cash book and relevant GL codes in SAP. Ensure accurate issuance of receipts for cash deposits to avoid mistakes that may impact financial reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash and receipt reports to facilitate the variance analysis and other related reporting.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statement and ageing report and resolve the reconciling items.
- Prepare summarized actual inward and outward for overseas bank account transaction based on the prescribed BNM purpose code where necessary.
- Attend to enquiries by departments and vendors on receipts details to provide clarity on transactions.
- Extract receipt information requested by internal users (case to case basis) to support departmental needs.
- Administer and maintain fixed deposit records and updating & renewals.
- Perform day to day general accounting duties such as posting, accrual and adjustment entries.

**Salary**: RM1,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
