The Assistant Manager, Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of transport services, including seaplanes, ferries, and dive boats. You will work closely with the Manager, Admin & Operations to oversee daily activities, manage resources, and ensure the smooth execution of our transportation operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, logístical expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Manager, Admin & Operations in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations activities, including flight schedules, ferry departures, and dive boat trips.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, such as on-time departures, service reliability, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, vehicles, vessels, and equipment, to meet operational requirements.
- Manage crew schedules, assignments, and training to ensure adequate staffing levels and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements for aviation, maritime, and dive operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and drills to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to deliver exceptional service to our passengers and guests, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, including fuel, maintenance, and equipment rentals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains in operations workflows and procedures.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and innovation.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

The above duties are a guide to the nature of work required and are not intended all the tasks associated with the role. Incumbent maybe required to perform any other duties as and when assigned by Management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in operations management, preferably in the tourism, transportation, or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of aviation, maritime, and/or dive operations regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and operations management software

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
