- ˜ CONSTRUCT OR FORM MOLDS FOR USE IN CASTING METAL, CLAY, OR PLASTER OBJECTS, USING PLASTER, FIBERGLASS, RUBBER, CASTING MACHINES, PATTERNS, OR FLASKS. ï
- ˜ PLACE FORMS AROUND MODELS AND SEPARATELY IMMERSE EACH HALF PORTION OF A MODEL IN PLASTER, WAX, OR OTHER MOLD-MAKING MATERIALS. ï
- ˜ CONDUCTS MINOR MOLD REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE; MAINTAINS CLEANLINESS OF WORK AREA. ï
- ˜ REMOVES MOLDS; INSPECTS MOLDS FOR QUALITY; REPORTS REPAIR NEEDS; PREPARES MOLDS FOR SHIPMENT. ï
- ˜ TO TRAIN FOR SETTING DUTIES ON ALL OTHER MOULDING MACHINES WITH A VIEW TO STAND IN / SETTER DUTIES AS REQUIRED. ï
- ˜ MANUFACTURE PRODUCTS TO THE REQUIRED QUALITY STANDARDS AND RECORD DATA AS DETERMINED BY THE RELEVANT QUALITY STANDARDS OR SPECIFICATIONS. ï
- ˜ SETTING THE PRODUCTION MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT TO ACHIEVE THE CORRECT OUTPUT RATE IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE PRODUCTION PLAN AND ENSURE THE ON TIME DELIVERY OF GOODS. ï
- ˜ HANDLE VARIOUS MOULDS LIKE TWO PLATE, THREE PLATE, CORE PULL, HYDRAULIC, PNEUMATIS HOT SPRUE/ HOT WATER MOLDS. ï
- ˜ TO ENSURE ALL RELEVANT RECORDS AND PAPERWORK ARE CARRIED OUT IN AN EFFICIENT AND LEGIBLE MANNER INCLUDING COLOUR TESTS. ï
- ˜ TO HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE OF SETTING INJECTION MOULDING MACHINERY, OPTIMISING PROCESSES AND DIAGNOSING FAULTS. ï
- ˜ TRAIN AND IMPART KNOWLEDGE TO THE LOCAL MOULD SETTERS.
