JR45750 CSR Financial Coordinator
**Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations on the Micron Gives team, the CSR Financial Coordinator will work collaboratively within the Gives team and with the accounting, treasury, and tax teams to maintain processes and procedures necessary to meet the obligations of Micron Foundation and corporate contributions programs in a timely manner while remaining in compliance with all applicable giving regulations.**
**Roles and Responsibilities will include**:
- Stay up to date on U.S. IRS rules/regs for Private Foundations
- Stay up to date on foreign site country philanthropy rules/regs
- Work closely with Legal on Foundation compliance items
- Coordinate and track security and compliance documentation among partner organizations such as Benevity and other third-party processors, including but not limited to vetting procedures and SOC1 reports.
- Manage vetting compliance - 501(c)(3) / Equivalency Determination (NGOsource), Give2Asia, and other DAFs we may utilize
- Provide information to external filing firm as needed to file the IRS 990-PF and any extensions that may be necessary
- IRS 990-PF Estimated Payments - prepare and provide information to external filing firm
- Qtrly ID Use Tax Returns - prepare and file
- Support for bi-weekly payment runs using SAP, Ariba or other systems
- Collect information for vendor master files and submit to vendor master group for vendor creation
- Research and troubleshoot payment issues
- Coordinate and answer questions about payment timing with Gives Team and Ambassadors
- Download SAP expense data then upload into PowerBi for Foundation monitoring
- Accurately code SAP grants/matching payments into Benevity Grants platform
- Review audit trail of Benevity process flows and complete monthly payment cards in Benevity, per process flows
- Support data verification for reporting
- Prepare documents for storage and filing in compliance with corporate policy
- Process and review team member expense reports
- Support the annual compliance training for Gives team and ambassadors
- Accurately manage Expenditure Responsibility document collection as necessary
- Assist with MTF board governance documents including but not limited to conflicts of interest, filing system for resolutions, and other board business
**Experience and Skills required**:
- Audit, accounting or other financial degree or requisite experience required.
- Experience in Account Payable (AP) or Account Receivable (AR) would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken word as this is the primary business language at Micron
- Understanding of U.S. tax and accounting regulations required
- Familiar with financial platforms such as SAP
- Experience or familiarity with nonprofit organizations a plus
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on many moving parts of the Foundation’s operational procedures
