**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position : CCTV Technician**

**Department : IT**

**Reporting Line : Director**

A CCTV (closed-circuit television) Technician is responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV camera systems and their associated components. The person must have excellent technical skills, knowledge of various software, troubleshooting, integrity and computer competences.

1. Monitoring a company’s CCTV and ensuring that the system is functioning properly and responding to alarms.

2. Discovering the cause of technical faults and resolving them in a timely manner.

3. Setting up new equipment, installing CCTV systems and connecting cabling.

4. Configuring CCTV systems so they are compatible with the necessary software and connected to the correct wiring.

5. Design, specify, configure, and install analog and digital CCTV systems.

6. Maintain and upgrade existing analog and digital CCTV systems as needed.

7. Provide security alarm services.

8. Support users of CCTV & security system.

9. Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to CCTV & Security systems.

10. Assist with access door and security systems

11. Provide technical support to end users covering all software and hardware related issues.

12. Perform all delegated tasks assigned by the management.

**Job Requirement**
- Knowledge and experience in cameras, wiring and cabling, IT networking principles, network configuration protocols, CCTV maintenance, and surveillance setup
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and an organized approach to tasks.
- Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
