[Mandarin Teacher (National School)] Role Profile

Purpose of Role

We are looking for a passionate Mandarin Teacher to deliver fun, engaging and learning-focused lessons, manage the day-to-day planning, lead events, and work effectively as a member of the National Primary team. If you want to be part of our team you will need to be passionate about learning. You will be good at working with and inspiring your colleagues, our students, and their parents.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’ Degree in Chinese Studies/Education/Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching or equivalent, (a teaching qualification would be desirable).
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a National school context.
- Motivated individual with keen interest in encouraging, motivating and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Is committed to wider aspects of school life and learning including developing students’ life skills to support development and growth.
- Can be a reflective individual who is committed to life-long learning and development.
