Reporting to the Branch Manager and Operations Manager, the Sea freight Operations Executive will be responsible for sea freight export and import operational tasks, work with sea freight customer service and accounting department.

**The responsibilities**
- Assist Indoor Sales team with placing the booking with shipping line if required
- Communicate with agent / customer once booking confirmation received from liner and release of booking confirmation to customer / agent
- Register shipment by opening file in transport management system
- Complete billing / costing on weekly basis to ensure timely job closing
- Follow up with overseas office / agent on final pre-alert and debit note (import)
- Follow up on missing shipping documents from shipper, send final pre-alert including debit note to destination agent and forward BL to customer to get approval (Export)
- Arrange delivery / pick up to customer
- Arrange customs clearance & EDI data entry such as K1, K2, K3, K8, K9, ZB
- Consult customer in COO, Form D&E, HS Codes, Duty Exemption, LMW & Drawbacks
- Handle temporary import & export procedures, e.g. BG & ATA Carnet (repair & return)
- Other additional tasks assigned by the superiors
- Diploma/Advance Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics
- Familiar with sea freight product knowledge
- Familiarity in CargoWise system would be preferred
- Able to fulfil critical tasks and urgency to deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
