Job Summary

Manage, maintain and enforce content and governance for one or more channels (social, web) and/or publish contents in a timely-manner and according to internal quality standards in order to ensure delivery of integrated and consistent communication in line with the organization's and digital marketing strategic priorities.

Job Qualifications

Required:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the area

AND
- High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience such as
- Proven working experience in social media or related field
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Preferred:

- 3 or more years of experience working on social media marketing strategies or campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Zurich organization
- Experience in a work environment that required collaboration and relationship building across work groups and/or companies
- Prior experience leading moderately complex projects and/or workstreams

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- Enable, manage and develop content and ensure global alignment of all digital marketing and communications activities.
- Engage with internal stakeholder to ensure consistent content messaging. Support in leading, identifying, developing and scheduling the distribution of content acrotal channels.
- Responsible for the integration of digital and social communication - writer, editor and production supervisor for digital content initiatives across various channels.
- Develop communication rhythm and editorial content calendar.
- Draft, proof-read and edit contents (e.g. news releases, Question & Answer, posts, presentations, etc.).
- Create and implement new content framework (words, info graphics etc) from approved themes and strategies and work to deploy into the web.
- Ensure content creation and distribution solutions are scalable across social properties and businesses.
- Manage and execute perception reporting and ad-hoc analysis and newsletters.
- Manage relationships with the relevant communities/partners/stakeholders.
- Follow and report on optimization trends and best practices.
- Maintain content related guidelines, policies, templates.

Essential job functions might be based on different areas/specialties - when applicable:
Social Media:
Support in planning, managing, and implementing the daily news flow together with other members of newsroom, focusing on social media channels
- Write and edit posts on social media platforms, drawing from internal and external sources and by adapting content to the optimal formats for his channels
- Manage social media communities to drive engagement
- Measure and analyze impact of social media initiatives on various KPIs, including channel growth, impressions, engagements, referral traffic and conversions
- Operate Social Media Monitoring and Distribution Tool
- Establish reports on the social media activities and best practices on how to optimize content (video, imagery, GIF, etc) across their channels
- Contribute to drive the social listening activities to gain understanding and sentiment of existing social channels.

Web:

- Publish content across multiple web channels (internal and external) and ensure a consistent, relevant and timely execution
- Repurpose multimedia content, primarily imagery, to fit the various online formats (thumbnails, banners, etc.)
- Help optimizing pages (including layouts) to improve content effectiveness and increase user engagement (low bounce rate, page views, time spent, etc.)
- Partner with content editors/authors to prepare content plans and production in advance of launches, events, campaigns and other online communications
- Help making data-driven decisions and providing actionable feedback regarding how to improve content
- Maintain a scope of work that is approximately 60% publishing and 40% content organization, layout, page optimization, site maintenance and imagery

Business Accountabilities
- Plan and carry out regular project quality reviews using standard methodologies in order to identify, assess and take action to mitigate risks to project success.
- Undertake investigations and inspections of communications data, social channels and content data, media monitoring and media perception reporting as well as processes and practice in accordance with established procedure and guideline to identify potential or actual issues and recommend appropriate action.
- Analyze and create insights based on the data available to provide detailed information to support the communications process and ensure delivery of consistent and successful message through digital marketing communication channels.
