JOB DESCRIPTION AS FINANCE MANAGER

Business Unit: Malaysia

Location: Petaling Jaya

Department: Finance

Position the role reports to General Manager

Roles reporting to this role: Finance team

Key Stakeholders**:Internal: Sales, Marketing, Warehouse Management, Auctions Team ** External: Banks, Company secretary, Lawyers, Insurance consignors, Bank consignors, Private seller consignors, Dealer Buyers, Private Buyers, Workshop Buyers, Scrap Buyers, External auditors and Tax Agent

1. Managing all accounting matters of the company with the usage of Dynamics 365 and AMS

2. Managing the Finance team.

3. Manage and control all AR and AP matters

4. Stock monitoring.

5. Understanding the complete Auction Management System (AMS) and links to D365.

6. Operating the AMS.

7. Assist in the Auctions, when necessary.

8. Completing the monthly and year-end financial, accounting, tax, cashflow and MIS reports.

9. SST matter, and other taxation matters

10. Bank reconciliations

11. Control reconciliations for deposits and transactions.

12. Prepare budgets for review by management.
- Above all, deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external.

- Execution - you’ll be responsible for assisting in building and modeling the accounting reports, procedures, and processes in Malaysia and also directly involved in their execution.

Key Accountabilities
- Managing the complete full set of accounts utilizing Dynamics 365
- Managing the Finance team.
- Manage the financial aspect of the auction event and control the Auction Management System (AMS)
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses.
- Monitoring cash flow, AR, and AP accounts.
- Completing the monthly bank reconciliations.
- Control all payments/cash outflow of the company accurately.
- Control the AR and collections.
- Assist in operations of the warehouse.
- All taxation matters to be up to date and on time (company taxes, GST, SST etc). Liaising with Banks, Company Secretaries and external auditors / tax agent and comply to regulatory requirements.
- Help other departments where possible. Assist in establishing the SOPs for relevant related processes for the above.
- Continue to help develop our IT systems to make our processes more efficient.

The above will include helping is setting up procedures and policies of the company as we establish our operations.

Key Performance Indicators
- Timely transactions for Accounting and taxation-related matters
- Timely reports for Accounts and relevant reports/analyses eg Bank reconciliations, auction reports, and analyses
- Manage the AMS system and provide insight to make it more robust
- Managing all and each auction from the set up to the finalization
- Team player
- Able to provide ideas to continuously improve the company’s processes
- Managing the staff reporting to you
- Managing external parties on matters impacting the financial situation of the company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
