Finance and Legal Manager

Oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance department duties with a team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Data Entry, Filing, Taxation, Audit, and etc.
- Liaise with clients for resolution of payments and invoicing matters.
- Take initiative to research on business funds, financial registries, and any other relevant topics of importance to the business.
- Develop and improve on existing tracksheets and records for all transactions, payment vouchers, claims processing, office expense and events budget.
- Review the accuracy of data entry and monthly reconciliation in the bookkeeping software Quickbooks.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Building and managing monthly financial reports and updates for the CEO and management team.
- Be the key stakeholder in charge of legal documents and processes within the business, including reviewing and drafting new legal contracts.
- Act as the primary point of counsel for legal related queries in business partnerships and actions.
- Take charge of procurement processes including sourcing for suppliers, budget estimation, and payments.
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to improve the finance and administrative functions as necessary.
- Communicate and update the CEO on a regular basis to align on business directions and decisions.
- Assist with any other projects assigned by the Company.
**; Requirements**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Legal roles, preferably a mix of startup and corporate background.
- Experienced in using Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel to manage and control data.
- Possess a detailed and logical mindset with passion to work with numbers and logic.
- Flexible with work arrangements and sociable, able to speak and present confidently in front of groups.
- Work well under pressure of tight deadlines and possess healthy self-confidence especially in demanding situations.
- Has experienced managing subordinate finance executives or accounting staff.
- Experienced cross collaborating with personnel from other departments.
- Able to maintain your own performance, with and without supervision.
- Able to adapt to different situations and improvise on solutions as needed.
