Steward Supervisor

- **Ordering, managing, and providing Supplies** - Ordering and managing necessary supplies. Ensuring workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
- **Attending Meetings to Improve Quality and Service** - Attending meetings and communicating with executives, peers, and subordinates as an effort to improve the quality of service.

**Key Function**
- Coordinates equipment requirements and food pick-up area with Kitchen staff and Outlet Manager.
- Conducts plate and glass, and silver inventories.
- Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Ensures utility staff is properly trained regarding sanitation, equipment handling, and chemical usage.
- Strives to improve service performance.
- Supervises dish wash machine operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
- Sets a positive example for guest relations.
- Knows and enforces proper use and cleaning of all dish wash machinery.
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Inspects food holding and transport equipment and maintains it in working order.
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
- Trains staff in safety procedures and supervises their ability to follow loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs.
- Assists as needed in the interviewing and hiring of staff team members with appropriate skills.
- Manages all equipment, plate, glass, and silver and ensures adequate clean supplies for each.
- Purchases appropriate supplies and manages inventories according to budget.
- Observes service behaviors of associates and provides feedback to individuals.
- Supports a departmental orientation program for associates to receive the appropriate new hiring training to successfully perform their job.
- Uses all available on-the-job training tools for staff.
- Ensures staff are cross-trained to support successful daily operations.
- Supervises on-going training initiatives and conducts training when appropriate.
- Investigates reports and follows up on staff accidents.
- Knows and enforces proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, floors, etc.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
