Procurement Executive

Responsible for procurement activities that include implementation of procurement strategies to maintain security of supply at the optimum price.
- Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency, including processes such as vendor qualification assessment, tender management and etc.
- To review and uphold the Procurement Policy and maintain constant communication with internal and external stakeholders on the policy updates/changes.
- Strong grasp of procurement experience in sourcing and negotiation process, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Ensure items purchased meet the required standards and specifications from both local and regional specifications.
- Perform benchmarking analysis and review of existing vendors on their capabilities and keep vendor database up to date.
- Ensuring policies being carried out according to the company’s requirements and direction.
- Ensure that expenditure savings targets are achieved and documented.
- Have an exposure to Regional and Cross Functional environments will be an added advantage.
- Ensure attainment of local department and regional joint goals, and support management to establish goals, KPI’s, and policies for the department.
- Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration or any other related field.
- At least 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- Experience using procurement/supply chain management ERP software and tools, including, SAP.
- Result-oriented, attention to detail, systematic, responsible, sense of ownership, and high ability to work under pressure in fast changing working environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills, a good understanding of strategic procurement and the ability to maintain vendor relationships.
- Advanced skill of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have proactive mindset.
- A team player and able to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
