Purchasing Assistant

**Responsibility**
1. Responsible in procurement process from purchase requisition, issuance of the purchase order and process payment.
2. Sourcing and negotiation with vendors to obtain the best quotes/prices and economics of scale.
3. Assisting in suppliers’ negotiation in services, performance, delivery, quality, payment term, service and gain cost-effective in purchasing.
4. Resolving situations such as supply chain shortages, allocations, and material discrepancies and to ensure contingency plans or alternate sources of supply are available.
5. Maintaining and updating the records of Approved Vendor Lists and Master Price Lists.
6. Working closely with the R&D and operation team for sourcing, and demand planning to inventory and forecast.
7. Liaising with suppliers to develop marketing and promotion plans.
8. Guiding and monitoring staff for weekly purchase of materials, equipment & machineries.
9. Ensuring supply of materials to meet operation requirement.
10. Arranging driver for delivery arrangement. Ensure trucks are in good condition and arranging for inspections on time.
11. To check and finalize weekly allowance for drivers.
12. To trace monthly usage of tolls and diesel and prepare a monthly report.
13. Ensuring warehouse in good condition and comply with relevant requirements in terms of safety and health.
14. Ensuring ERP system is fully used to obtain data required on products.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
