**POSITION**:Store Keeper

**RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY**
- Receive incoming materials and verify their quantity and quality against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Store materials safely in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including quantities, stock levels, and movements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock movements, consumption patterns and procurement activities.
- Inspect and maintain storage facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in conducting regular stock audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Organize and store materials, tools, and equipment in designated areas to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent stock shortages.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction teams according to project requirements.
- Keep the construction site clean, organized and free of hazards in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records and investigate any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to fulfill material requirements and support construction activities.
- Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and project management to support construction site operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
- Undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the respective Manager or immediate superior.

**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION**
- High school or SPM or equivalent qualification required; Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics preferred.
- Proven experience as a store keeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations related to storage and handling of materials.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as required to meet project deadlines.
