**O**bjecti**v**es of t**h**e **P**osi**t**ion**
- Drive Talent Development initiatives in Asia Pacific and deliver customized solutions for units in Asia Pacific
- Manage the organization of regional LEADx programs and talent development events in Asia Pacific

**M**ain** Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities**

**LEADx Program**:

- Connect with the Talent Development Community and to transplant the latest development of concepts and tools to Asia Pacific
- Customize the concepts and tools to the context of Asia Pacific and develop roll out strategy in the region
- Collaborate with the Learning team, Talent Development Team, HRBP, Country HR/L&D, Regional HRBP Community to develop talent development initiatives in the region and support them based on service demand

**Customized talent development solutions**:

- In collaboration with the Learning Team, support HRBP/Country HR or L&D Community to develop customized learning and Development solutions on demand
- Project manage the solutions. Facilitate/deliver those solutions where necessary

**Manage talent development communication**:

- Partner with Corporate Communications, collaborate with Learning team, Talent Development Team, L&D Community and D+I team, another other HR functions including Talent Acquisitions, C&B, Operational Excellence etc. to develop internal communications with the purpose of promoting corporate values, self learning, use of online resources etc.

**Support Talent Development Projects**:

- Manage Global and Regional talent development projects when required. Identify the needs for customization and develop implementation approach to fit into the diverse needs of business and countries in Asia Pacific.

**Job Requirements**
- **Edu**c**a**t**i**o**n** : Master degree in Social Sciences, Business, HR Management or related discipline
- **W**o**r**k**in**g **E**x**pe**r**i**e**n**c**e**: Minimum 5 years of work experience related to talent management, learning and development and/or organizational development, combined with a strong execution and project management skill
- **T**e**c**hn**i**c**a**l & **P**r**o**f**e**ss**i**o**n**a**l **Knowledge**
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Consultative in approach; has a point of view but is open to others’ ideas; strong drive for results and collaborate with others to get things done
- Exhibits drive to identify improvement areas and solutions to the problem through bringing in external perspectives and previous experiences; shows persistence and identify the best options to implement the changes even when there are obstacles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

**BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre was established in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the regional service hub has approximately 1,100 employees and growing. Focused on being a competency and digitalization driven hub, it also provides quality functional and know-how services in the areas of finance, controlling, human resources, real estate and facilities management, communications, environmental, health and safety, procurement, import-export order management, and information services to BASF companies and affiliates in the Asia Pacific region. BASF also has two other regional hubs located in Berlin, Germany, and Montevideo, Uruguay that cover the Europe and Americas regions.
