**Overview**
Responsible for overseeing the Treasury functions and supporting the day-to-day operations of the team. This position will be deeply involved in the cash management process, including activities such as bank account administration, daily cash positioning, cashflow forecasting, and intercompany & third party payment processes.
You will be responsible for managing the company's financial risks and ensuring that adequate funding is available for operations. The Treasury Analyst will report to the Treasury Manager and will work closely with other members of the finance team, as well as with external banks and financial institutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure that the company has adequate cash reserves.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions, handling the administration of bank accounts and negotiating favorable terms.
- Prepare reports and analyses on treasury activities, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
- Assist with the development of the company's capital structure and funding strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax, and legal teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, including currency, and credit risk.
- Coordinate the Treasury-related tasks for acquisition integrations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in treasury management
- Coordination with Procurement and A/P for the review and release of payment activity.
- Coordination with Legal on treasury activities, including intercompany loans and dividends, settlement of intercompany activities, financial institution know your customer requests, etc.
- Provide support/maintenance of the ERP project team for best practices
- Coordination with Finance for all treasury activity, as well as coordination of activity related to cash and debt management (i.e. A/R activity, cashflow forecasting, etc.).
- Responsible to complete daily accounting activities - GL entries, month end and year end closing processes, reporting, reconciliation, and statutory compliance matters on a timely and accurate matter.
- Assist in liaison with external auditors, consultants, and tax agents on financial accounting and tax issues when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- 1 year(s) of relevant experience from large public or private companies in accounting field.
- Bachelor of Accounting.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of banking platforms and services.
- Exceptional math skills.
- Available to work shift and shift support during Malaysia public holidays.

**Added Advantage**:

- Possess Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
- Ability to perform independent work and prepare analyses of the impact of finance, including the company’s financial statements and disclosure practices.
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with senior management and influence decision-making.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion.
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel, from staff to executive management.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
