The Executive QMS/IQC is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System and Incoming Quality Control processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and compliance of products, services, or components, and in continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
1. QMS Development and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that quality policies, procedures, and work instructions are in place and adhered to throughout the organization.
2. Compliance and Auditing:
- Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to identify non-conformities and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality-related processes, including documentation of quality inspections, audits, and assessments.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the QMS and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Implement quality performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvements.
5. Training and Education:
- Provide training and education to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure that all staff members are aware of their role in maintaining and improving quality.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
1. Supplier Evaluation and Selection:
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to assess, select, and evaluate suppliers based on their quality and reliability.
- Define and maintain IQC standards and criteria for incoming materials or components.
2. Incoming Inspections:
- Develop and implement procedures for incoming quality inspections.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
3. Defect and Non-Conformance Management:
- Identify and document non-conforming materials or components.
- Initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in collaboration with suppliers to resolve issues.
4. Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports on incoming quality performance and any supplier-related issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with suppliers to communicate quality expectations and concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline).
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a plus.
Experience in quality management, including QMS development and implementation.
Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Knowledge of relevant quality control and statistical analysis tools.
The role of an Executive QMS/IQC is pivotal in ensuring that products or services meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This position is critical in managing quality processes, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
