**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safety Planning and Implementation:Develop and implement project-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to integrate safety measures into project plans.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor the effectiveness of safety measures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for each project, considering all potential hazards and their potential impact.
- Identify potential safety risks and hazards through site inspections, incident reports, and analysis of work processes.

Implement controls and measures to mitigate identified risks and prevent accidents.

- Safety Training and Education :Develop and deliver safety training programs to project personnel, including new hires and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all workers are adequately trained in safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry best practices and incorporate them into training programs.
- Incident Management and Investigation :Respond promptly to any safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses, ensuring that appropriate medical attention is provided when necessary.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate incident records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
- Safety Communication and Promotion:Foster a culture of safety by promoting awareness, accountability, and active participation in safety initiatives.
- Communicate safety guidelines, updates, and best practices to project teams and subcontractors.
- Organize safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other safety-related events to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Certifications such as OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively train and educate others on safety matters.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks and hazards.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Batu Kawan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:
