Key Responsibilities:
Safety Planning and Implementation:Develop and implement project-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to integrate safety measures into project plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Monitor the effectiveness of safety measures and make recommendations for improvement.

Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification:Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for each project, considering all potential hazards and their potential impact.
Identify potential safety risks and hazards through site inspections, incident reports, and analysis of work processes.
Implement controls and measures to mitigate identified risks and prevent accidents.

Safety Training and Education:Develop and deliver safety training programs to project personnel, including new hires and subcontractors.
Ensure that all workers are adequately trained in safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry best practices and incorporate them into training programs.

Incident Management and Investigation:Respond promptly to any safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses, ensuring that appropriate medical attention is provided when necessary.
Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Maintain accurate incident records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.

Safety Communication and Promotion:Foster a culture of safety by promoting awareness, accountability, and active participation in safety initiatives.
Communicate safety guidelines, updates, and best practices to project teams and subcontractors.
Organize safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other safety-related events to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- A minimum of [X] years of experience in construction, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Certifications such as OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively train and educate others on safety matters.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks and hazards.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
